For the PPA, IQ and Aptitude Tests
Copy, paste and edit the below template into an email for the person you are testing. Insert the testing link for the PPA and IQ tests near the end and the "Job Title" and "Brief Job Description" in the appropriate place:
Dear__________
Part of our hiring process involves taking three tests. The first two can be done online. Please read all of these instructions carefully.
You should have at least an hour and thirty minutes available to take the two tests. Both tests need to be completed at the same time without a break between the two tests. Please make sure you won't be interrupted while you take the tests. You will need to take the tests again if you don't complete both of them in one sitting.
These are the Personnel Potential Analysis and IQ Tests. The IQ test (second test) is timed and you will have 30 minutes to complete that portion once started.
It is recommended that you do these on a computer rather than a phone.
Please do not use any devices while taking the tests, e.g. calculators, Google, etc.
You may use a pen and paper to make any calculations on the IQ test.
When you click the testing link below, you will be taken to a page where you will need to enter the Job Title and Job Description. The information below can simply be copied and pasted into the fields provided.
In the "Job Title" field, enter: (Enter the information here)
In the "Brief Job Description" field, enter: (Enter the information here)
Then click continue and take the tests. When you enter your name, please don't use any "accent marks" or punctuation with any of the letters, just plain upper and lower case letters typed in.
The test instructions are self explanatory. Please read them carefully. Here is the link:

Sincerely,
(Your Name)
To deliver a remote Aptitude Test, your applicant must have already done the PPA and IQ tests and agreed to the legal waiver and job description. The waiver is automatically included at the beginning of those tests. Please don't administer the Aptitude Test without this.
To administer a remote Aptitude Test, your applicant needs to be able to print it when you email it to them. They must also be able to do a virtual meeting (Zoom or another platform) where you can see them take the test. Do not email the test to the applicant prior to their starting the virtual call as they can have no extra time to review the test prior to starting it.
Begin by downloading the pdf file from below or using your Aptitude Grader link and attaching it to an email you will send to your applicant.
Start the virtual call and then email the PDF of the Aptitude Test. When received, have the person print it out (preferably on two sides). Tell them to read the instructions to you out loud so you know that they have it. Then let the applicant know that you will time them on the test and to inform you when they have finished.
Give the person a "start." When finished, note down the minutes and seconds it took them to do the test.
Have the person take a picture or scan the test and send it back to you. Grade it in the online grader.
That's all there is to it. When ready, schedule a consult with me using my calendar link.
